The International Faculty continues its series of meetings with international students through a psychological and adaptation coworking space, as part of the International Friendship Club (IFC) events. Zuriet Mamysheva, Associate Professor of the Department of Educational Psychology at ASU, leads these meetings. The topic of the upcoming session is "Communication as an Important Factor in the Successful Adaptation of International Students at the University."
The goal is to foster communicative competence and cultivate a culture of effective communication. Initially, students were invited to get acquainted with one another. An interactive game/performance was conducted, during which students shared their names and characteristics.
The meetings will be held from February to April. They aim to bring together students from different countries, teach and enhance their psychological self-regulation skills, alleviate stress, and reduce anxiety and aggressive behaviours. Furthermore, these discussions will support students in their journey of self-discovery.
